THE ACTIVE INGREDIENT

The basic building blocks are water, salt and electricity in the form of the supply of an electrical charge.

Our effective disinfectant consists of the three basic components water, salt and electricity in the form of an electrical charge. The electrochemical activation converts the salt water into the products Planet Sensitive and Planet Strong. This process creates a stable, active ingredient. Due to the present pH value of 8.9-9.5, the active ingredient is defined as active chlorine released from sodium hypochlorite, even if it is actually a complex equilibrium of different active ingredients (in particular hypochlorous acid (HClO) and hypochlorite anion (ClO–), see assessment report for active chlorine released from sodium hypochlorite).

The disinfecting effect of the hypochlorite anion is based on the structural change in proteins. This intervenes decisively in the metabolism of microorganisms, which leads to the loss of functional structures. Viruses or bacteria can therefore no longer multiply and are made harmless to humans.

Hypochlorous acid is a naturally occurring acid in the human body that is involved in fighting infections in the process of phagocytosis.
