Preventive hygiene can reduce the risk of disease.
Fattening farms are challenged to create high flock rates that produce healthy and contented animals. These seemingly contradictory objectives can be supported by a clean environment, reduction of general germ counts, reduction of mite infestation and purification of the atmosphere in the coop.
Planet Innovation GmbH’s hygiene measures are aimed at increasing the health and contentment of the animals. Essentially, it is about an optimised combination of the interests of the producer, the customer, the animal and the environment, in which everyone wins. This enables clean and maximised production with reduced use of antibiotics.

After visiting the chicken farms, we developed an individual hygiene concept for the cleaning and disinfection processes together with the customer. Our application technician was continuously on site during the conversion of the processes shown and went through all work steps with the employees.
Once the entire stalls had been cleaned with Planet FOAM and Planet CIP, the product Planet Strong was used for the disinfecting process. Fans, lamps, feed lines and wastewater tanks were also disinfected in addition to the stall area.
